Search and sort saved collections

Search and sort saved collections

I have more than 60 collections on Instagram. Last time I used Instagram, it was in June 2023. Instagram didn't had any options to search, sort, or manage saved collections. I think this part of the app needs upgrades. Even if you don't have many collections, better tools for managing saved content are necessary, especially for the current scale of user's daily content consumption. I use command + f in the desktop and phone browser to find the specific collections.

So I thought of simply adding a search field and sorting options to manage the collections.

Instagram story feed

Instagram story feed

Stories is currently the biggest feature to stay up to date with the people you are following compared to the posts and reels and I find the current method of viewing stories on Instagram to be bit restrictive and cumbersome. As I follow more people, it becomes increasingly difficult to locate and view individual stories from the homepage. Additionally, I've noticed that ads often disappear between stories after exiting a particular story. I appreciate relevant and suggested ads on Instagram, I've also discovered numerous amazing small businesses through them and losing some interesting ad and not finding it ever again sucks.

I thought of creating a separate feed for stories to surf and scroll vertically instead of horizontal rail, it'll include Brand ads and stories from suggested public accounts adding more reach for the accounts.
